Our Story

Alliant Communications provides Profitability and a Competitive Advantage to our Clients, a Quality Work Environment for our Employees and a Partnership with our Community.

When Jim Watters founded Alliant in 2003, he recognized the critical need for a Technology Company that could combine leading edge technology in Voice, IT, Intrusion, Surveillance, Door Access and Infrastructure with top quality service and customer support.

Alliant’s current position as an industry leader is based on those principles and on a determination to keep pace with an ever-changing technology industry, offering the latest technology solutions available to our customers.

With this philosophy and Alliant’s ability to offer custom engineered technology solutions, Alliant is able to help increase our customer's profitability and give them a competitive advantage in their markets.

In June 2011, Yakima's JA World opened its doors as a hands-on, dynamic, experiential learning environment. Each year, children from across Central Washington try their hand at running a business, managing finances, even emptying trash cans. Alliant built the communications systems in the Yakima JA World complex and continues to stay involved. "Alliant is concerned about the economic health of our community," says David Moor, President and CEO of Junior Achievement Washington. Moore has worked closely with Alliant to help create pathways to communicate Junior Achievement's message of supporting youth engagement in business. "They are committed from the very beginning, you will love the end result of working with Alliant."

We've found [Alliant] to be very thorough from the planning stages through final training and continued support portions of our implementation.
